What do I wear to the wedding?

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. Men should wear a black tux. Woman should wear a gown and avoid white.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Yes - there will be welcome drinks the evening before for those who have flown in early and a farewell pool party the following day. You can RSVP to all events online.

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Ideally you have booked accommodation near Villa Balbiano. The easiest way to arrive is by taxi as there is no parking available at the venue. There are limited taxi's in Lake Como so make sure to book in advance either through your hotel or with a local taxi service.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we are hosting an adults only event. We really appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is RSVP only, unless specified we will only be able to accommodate those with a formal invitation.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special dietary options available?

Yes! Once we have sent the menu options, please let us know of any special dietary requirements you have.

When should I book my accommodation?

ASAP. It may be a long way off, but Lake Como gets extremely booked up in the summer months and prices can skyrocket if you book last minute.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We have not reserved a hotel block for guests. You can find a list of recommended hotels on our website along with a list of recommended towns if you wish to book a private accomodation.
